Validity and Reliability of test

Validity: Validity refers to a test's ability to measure what it is meant to. For example a test that requires an individual to perform a tennis serve as many time as they can in a minute is not a valid test for ability to serve in tennis effectively, as the serve is a closed skill (a player can serve when they are wish). The validity of a test can be reinforced by comparing the results with expected values or standards tables.//

Reliability of test: Reliability refers to the ability of a test to reproduce similar results when conducted in similar situations and conditions. Reliability in testing can be improved by the use of similar procedures, conditions and equipment as originally prescribed.
