In these days and times, recruitment for ANY type of job is probably fairly strict. Advertising a job opening is pretty routine via newspapers, unemployment divisions, etc., but actually following thru with hiring a prospective employee is much more complicated. Even more so if the employee will be offered a benefits package, since the cost of offering benefits has risen so so much in the recent years. Drug testing, background checks, and many other factors are taken into consideration and, more often than not, are a major deciding factor in whether or not to hire a particular applicant for an available position of any type.
