Distinguish between One-way and Two-way Communication.

One-way Communication: Communication in which information is always transferred in only one reassigned direction.  One-way communication is not necessarily constrained to one transmission path.  Examples of one-way communications systems include broadcast stations, one-way intercom systems, and wire line news services.

Two-way Communication:Two-way process of reaching mutual understanding, in which participants not only exchange (encode-decode) information but also create and share meaning. See also communications. Examples of two-way communications systems include, Chat Room, Telephone Conversation, Instant messaging etc.
