In their decisions making they give substantial weight to social inputs along with economic and technical inputs, and they seek to provide social outputs for a wide variety of claimants. These are the roles of trustee and boundary mediator. They will be discussed in the following paragraphs along with four other roles that have undergone substantial changes as business has become more socially involved.
